The street level
Saddleback was the first big subdivision on the ridge side and it has aged into itself: trees are tall now, the pond trail is paved, the elementary is a walk. Houses are the two-story-with-a-porch pattern, stone veneer on the base, big kitchens for the era. It is not the newest neighborhood and it is not the cheapest. It is the one with the fewest surprises.
